ABOUT THE PROJECT:

The Monastery of Our Lady is an old building from 11th century located in the capital city of Saxony-Anhalt, Magdeburg, which currently houses a contemporary arts museum.

​

The design proposal it is responding to the need to expand the existing space, finding a balance between the respect for the old building, while at the same time creates a piece of contemporary architecture that reflects the kind of art inside the museum.
